We started the semester with an introduction to the legal market, featuring alumni guests from a variety of practice areas. We continued with a discussion of why it is important to know your values and own your professional image, and why you need to start that as a first-year student. Next up? The nuts and bolts of career planning, and putting together a timeline for your first legal job search!
All first-year students are required to join us on Wednesday, October 18 at 5PM in the Moot Courtroom. Curious about where the OCP is even located and how/when to schedule an appointment? Wondering which employers have deadlines as early as December? Do you know why having a polished one-page resume is important? Are you confused about CareerConnect?
