The National School Boards Association’s Council of School Attorneys (COSA) is hosting its 2019 School Law Seminar in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 28-30, 2019 at the Philadelphia 201 Hotel.

Students are invited to attend this seminar at a significantly reduced rate, which allows you to interact with practicing attorneys while attending sessions on hot topics in public education law. The School Law Seminar draws attendees from across the U.S. and Canada and is specifically designed for attorneys who represent public schools.

This year’s opening general session will feature Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO, National Constitution Center and his thoughts on School Law in the New Roberts Court. Other sessions will tackle other timely and important school topics such as working with law enforcement, liability issues associated with arming school staff, and special ed discipline.

Law students are welcome to the seminar to learn from leaders in the field of school law and participate in interactive discussions on current topics. Law students considering a career in school law will be assigned a COSA member to serve as their mentor during the seminar.
