Interested in public service and public interest? Consider attending the largest national public interest legal career fair in the country, the Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair. The Conference and Career Fair will take place October 26 and 27 in Washington, DC, and more than 175 public interest employers typically participate.

In addition to meeting with employers, the Conference and Career Fair offers unique opportunities to participate in workshops related to public interest careers. Keynote speaker Sally Yates, former U.S. Deputy and Acting Attorney General, will give an address, and additional workshops will focus on educational debt relief, immigration issues, criminal justice reform, and more!

Registration for the Conference and Career Fair is now open and can be completed at the Equal Justice Works website. Note that the Office of Career Planning offers a micro grant program where you can apply to cover some of the related costs. (The micro grant information can be found in CareerConnect, under the Resouces tab, by searching “micro grant.”)
